“ Lovely food and amazing coffee. Staff are so friendly and nothing is a bother to them. ”

“ Dropped in for Sunday brunch with the family and was pleasantly surprised by this Kalgoorlie café. A steady stream of customers reassured me that this place already had built a solid reputation. Quirky décor including repurposed items and artwork provided a stimulating atmosphere. They catered well for vegetarians, vegans, gluten and lactose intolerant as well as the carnivores. We had Sweet Tooth (pancakes), a Breakfast Feed (big breakfast), The Pumba Burger and 2 x For Our Vegan Friends (see photos). Washed down by freshly squeezed juice, chai latte, flat white with almond milk, long mac topped up, mineral water & a soft drink. The café was certainly full and we had to wait a bit for a seat. There was a queue for service but this was dealt with efficiently. Their café also has a function room that you can book. ”

“ This breakfast is a hearty and satisfying take on the classic full English, beautifully presented with a thoughtful mix of textures and flavors. The thick-cut toast is golden and crisp on the outside while staying soft inside, making it perfect for pairing with the other components on the plate. The poached eggs are delicately done, with firm whites and perfectly runny yolks that add richness without overwhelming the dish. The bacon is thick, juicy, and well-seared, offering a savory depth that complements the grilled sausage’s smoky flavor. A roasted tomato adds a burst of freshness and acidity that balances the richness of the meats. The small portion of sautéed mushrooms and wilted spinach brings an earthy, slightly bitter counterpoint that rounds out the flavors beautifully. The baked beans, served in a decorative patterned bowl, are warm, slightly sweet, and comforting—an essential part of any traditional breakfast. Their soft texture contrasts nicely with the crunch of the toast and the firmness of the eggs. Every element feels intentional and well-prepared, both in taste and presentation. This breakfast strikes a perfect balance between indulgent and wholesome, making it a delicious and complete meal to start your day. A true morning delight! ”

“ Tucked quietly into the Piccadilly end of Kalgoorlie is Just a Little Café, the kind of place you do not stumble upon, but once discovered, you hope stays your secret. Service set the tone from the outset. Marlee took my order with genuine attentiveness. She was polite, friendly, and thoughtful, right down to confirming my choice of bread and even the type of cup for my coffee. Small details, but in good hospitality, those details matter. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with garlic mushrooms and halloumi, paired with an almond latte. The meal was delivered by Tenaya, who was a delight. She arrived smiling, well presented, and clearly proud of what was being served. As someone very particular about hollandaise, I approached with caution. It exceeded expectations. The sauce was rich without being heavy, well balanced, and seasoned perfectly. The eggs were cooked beautifully and did not overpower the dish. Instead, they complemented the flavours, allowing everything to work together. The sourdough texture rounded it out perfectly. This is a lovely little hidden gem of a café in Kalgoorlie’s Piccadilly area, offering thoughtful service and genuinely good food. Do yourself a favour and check this place out PS- sorry I had a mouthful before I took photos haha ”

“ Stop in for a quick brunch with my Mum, and my Son. I Ordered the delicious looking and tasting Biscoff Waffles.. between my son and I we couldn't finish it all they were soooo freaking good though. My mum had the bene burger was so fresh and tasty, The staff were so friendly and quick with our meals. The atmosphere here is so chill. doesn't even feel like kalgoorlie. Clean tidy. And seems to be worth the 5-7 minute walk from the hospital for the nurses who were in and out during our stop. ”
